I'm seeing patterned pants all over the place and in stores like J.Crew but feel apprehensive about dropping $50+ on a pair of pants I can only wear sparingly. I don't like to invest a lot in particular trends versus things I think would be more classic and versatile. This DIY was a way to get in on the trend for a lot cheaper.
Materials:
- Jeans (Forever 21, $10)
- Hole punch (or a stencil)
- White acrylic paint
- Sponge brush
I used pages out of a magazine to insert into the pants as I painted them so the paint didn't leak through onto the other side (just in case because these weren't the best quality jeans ever)
You really don't need to put a lot of paint on, just dab it in.
The final product!
