I've had this easy DIY pinned on my pintrest board for over a year now. It's easy because it's just two steps, but I've been putting it off because it requires using a sewing machine, and until a few weeks ago, I didn't know how to use one!

1. Cut out a bunch of circles (or shape of your desire) in cardstock or scrapbook paper. I used a mix of both papers, and I used a 1.5" circle shape cutter I got from a craft store

2. Sew cut-outs in a straight line with a small gap in between each cut-out. I tried to keep the sewing order random

And that's it! I went a little crazy and made a lot since they were so quick! Oops?

I like to avoid using boxed ingredients if I can afford the time (although mostly it's less about time and more about effort/laziness). I've found a blueberry muffin recipe that gives me delicious results everytime and doesn't require too much effort.

Taken from http://www.food.com/recipe/the-best-blueberry-muffins-50719, I've made minor changes to the recipe. I skip the vanilla and the nutmeg for the topping just because I hardly have either on hand.

Perfect to bake over Memorial Day weekend!

When I saw these on Pinterest, I decided I didn't care what I would have to do to learn how to make these, I just knew I had to have them. This may have involved multiple google searches on how to thread/use a sewing machine, but mission accomplished!

It took drastically longer than it should have, but the results are super sweet (pun absolutely intended). These pillows are an instant eye-catcher, perfect for summer, and would make a great gift!
